As a designer at Daybreak studio, I worked with the Pager team to help them in their quest to reimagine screenshots as a new form of creative expression for creators, & online discovery for consumers. Put simply – we’re trying to extract the useful content within a screenshot to make it shareable. My role of helping early stage startups rapidly experiment allows them to make more informed product decisions and acquire rounds of funding from VC.

The team wanted to think through multiple formats that screenshots could be shared. I explored 3 concepts: free-form canvas, single-scrolling canvas, and grid canvas.

We were tasked to explore how generative AI could be utilized in the app. I chose to explore ways AI could speed up the creation flow – given the value prop of “sharing screenshots” is speed for the creator.

For a new app to catch on, it needs to funnel in users from existing scaled platforms.
